Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the Youth Symphony of Denton Orchestra Program. Our program provides a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, including four formal concerts, informal public performances, chamber music experiences, summer camps, social events, and more. Auditions are held twice annually, in the fall and spring. If you are unable to attend a scheduled audition, please don’t worry. Simply reach out to us, and we will arrange an alternative audition time. To begin the audition process, please register, and you will be contacted with scheduling details.
We also offer auditions on a rolling basis throughout the year, subject to available spaces, typically at the start of each concert cycle. Wind, brass, and percussion players are invited to join the Symphony Orchestra in early November. There is no specific audition repertoire for these instrumentalists; instead, we encourage students to perform a piece that demonstrates their highest level of skill and musicianship.
