Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the Youth Symphony of Denton Orchestra Program. Our program offers a number of performance opportunities for our members throughout the year including four formal Concerts, informal performances in public venues, as well as chamber performances opportunities, summer camp, social activities and more.
Please check out the audition FAQs and fill out the Audition form. Our first audition day for the 2024-25 season will be on May 18, 2024. We will continue to hold additional auditions throughout the summer, dates and times to be announced. Please fill out the audition form and you will be contacted concerning scheduling your day and time.
Auditions can occur year-round as spaces are available, usually at the beginning of each concert set. We bring wind, brass and percussion members into the Symphony Orchestra in early November. There is no specific audition music for these instrumentalists, and we ask students to play something that shows their highest level of ability.
