Our Beginning Orchestra program was developed to give students a place to learn the basics of playing a stringed instrument who attend schools without a strings program or are homeschooled. They will meet twice a week to learn the basics of playing and will have a chance to perform twice during the year. Students of all ages are welcome to join.
Students will meet on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the school year, taking breaks for the usual school holidays following the Denton ISD calendar.
There will be an information meeting on Saturday, April 20th at 2:00, located at the UNT Music Building in room 116. Student joining this group will not have to participate in an audition. Please fill out the information form below to indicate interest in joining us.
